You're going to want to adjust all of your tools. The first thing I do is turn the stroke off. Click on the black square that looks like a picture frame underneath the white one. Then click the un-stroke button underneath:

The thing that I have labled as #2 is important to note as well. Remember on the last page when I said if you click on the little black arrows on any of the tools, a sub-menu pops out? This is the sub-menu for the pen tool. You can add points to a line using the one with the +sign next to it and you can delete points from a line using the one with the -sign.

Double clicking on the white box, or fill box will pop up a color chart so you can select what color you want to use.
